GlenDronach 21 Year Old Parliament Whisky 700ml

The Glendronach Parliament 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is named after the 'parliament' of rooks who have nested in the trees overlooking Glendronach for over 200 years. The Glendronach 21 is matured in a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez casks for at least 21 years where it takes on much of its wonderful character.As with all Glendronach distillery bottlings, this is non-chill filtered and of natural colour. Bottled at 48%, the liquid is a deep amber colour with a cherry wood sheen. On the nose there are ripe, autumn fruits, blackberries and plums. Rich Oloroso sherry with candied orange. Spiced oatmeal biscuits and toasted oak being weight and balance. To taste the Oloroso sherry is forward with bitter cocoa, plums and spicy notes, cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg. Parliament is a fine, full bodied dram with a long, satisfying finish.
